Hook - Mustad 3366 #6 Thread - Danville A Thread - Uni 6/0 Blue Doc Head Cement - Daves or better Sparkle Foam Black Angoras Goat
Step 1
This Fly you have to glue your thread to the hook shank.....Use a 3366 # 6 Mustad hook...You don't wont want this fly to twist on you.
Step 2
Well you want to put the legs on in a bunch tie them down real tight.....then you want to go to the sparkle foam and cut two sections about 4 or 5 inches long...about 1/2 inch wide Peal the paper of the back and tie the sharp in down real good. about half way down the hook tie it back toward the bend over the legs...
Step 3
This is the way I want you to cut them just like that and about 4 inches long and tie the pointed on in first tight... crystal side down and pull the paper off.
Step 4
Now pick a piece of yellow about 4 inches long and cut it.
Step 5
Now take the Yellow sliver and tie it down about half way and then wind it back to the bend.
Step 6
Then grab the yellow Foam and wind it to the end of the other piece and then follow with the thread Wrap it down real good... This will give it a center filling that will make it float all day.
Step 7
Now we take the other piece of foam and paste the the two blue ones together now we are going to give the blue ones sparkly effect and you will figure it all shortly.....and we are going to use dubbing loops about 6 or 7 of them.
Step 8
So now we have the fly all dubbed so We now are going to pull the blue sparkle foam over pretty tight.....not so tight that you pull it apart if you do we will have to start all over again and we don't want to do that.
Step 9
Now we are going to teach Something else new We are going to dub with a loop back words.
Step 10
Now we are going to change thread color.
Step 11
Now we are going to pull blue foam backwards and we are going to tie it down real tight with the blue thread.
