Recipe

Material List;
Brass tube 3/16" x 3/4" long with rigid plastic liner
Small junction tubing
6mm plastic bead color of your choice.
Chart.Ultra Chenille
Chart 6/0 thread
Hook used: #12 Eagle Claw LO42

These tubing along with 3/16" brass tube cut to length is all you will need to make the weenie.

Step 1

Picture
I first slide the brass tube and the 6mm bead over the plastic liner. Use a lighter and heat the end, you will see the end flare. Do not overdo it as it will burn the tubing.

Step 2

Picture
Then gently push the brass tube and bead against flare end until the plastic cools.

Step 3

Picture
Next, snip off the end within 1/8" from end of brass tubing and heat it with a lighter. Gently heat the tubing until a nice flare butts the brass tubing.

Step 4

Picture
Start the thread and tie on the tail end with chenille.

Step 5

Picture
Be sure to leave 1/8" space to install the junction tubing on the rear of tube.

Step 6

Picture
Finish the fly by wrapping the rest of the tube with chenille tie off behind the beadhead and add drop of superglue.

Step 7

Picture
Add junction tubing and cut to desired length, usually long enough for hook.

Another version where I left out the tail of tube body and installed it on the hook shank.

Step 8

Picture
Now with fly done all you will need to is run your tippet thru the body and tie it to the hook and push it back into the junction tube.
