Mouse Pad Ant

Simple to tie and effective to fish, the Mouse Pad Ant is made from pieces of an old mouse pad and hackle.  Simply tie on the foam from the mouse pad and trim to your taste (big, small, whatever), wrap some hackle around the middle (2-3 wraps), tie off and you're done.  Fly is especially effective in lower water conditions such as summer and early fall often present.
