| Hook: #14 Gamakatsu (S10-B), barbless |
| Thread: Rusty dun uni-thread 8/0 |
| Tail/Shuck: Light tan/light amber antron |
| Body: Light brown antron, dubbed into a
dubbing "rope" |
| Thorax : Bleached sable fur |
| Hackle : Honey dun saddle |
| Hair: Western mule deer |
| Notes: This is a favorite of mine for
rougher freestone streams, as the combination parachute style hackle
and deer hair helps it to float well (dressed with floatant), land
and ride great in the water without turning over, and the two tone
body and shuck seems to mimic and emerging fly. |
