"Bullet-Proof" Double Bunny

Hook: Mustad 80500 (though preferably a large saltwater hook)
Thread: Gudebrod G, black
Eye: painted lead dumbbell eyes
Tail: bunny zonker strip (chinchilla, tan, white, black, olive, etc.)
Body: bunny zonker strip
Lateral Line: stiff flash material
Head: Loop dubbed zonker hair (over eyes) and dubbed zonker hair (in front of eyes)

Tie the eyes in and secure with Zap-a-Gap and let dry.  Cut a short section of zonker strip and glue it to a longer section which will also become the body.  Tie in the tail/body with 3-4 wraps and cover undershank w/Zap-a-Gap.  Wrap the zonker strip to the dumbbell eyes and tie off.  Tie in the lateral line and form a dubbing loop.  Insert a section of zonker strip and twist the loop then trim away the skin.  Spin the loop tightly and then wrap it behind the eyes and the loop tightly and then wrap it behind the eyes and then figure-8 around the eyes.  Tie off and then dub a small head.  Whip finish with two four-turn whip finishes and coat with high glass head cement (Sally Hansons or Hard as Hull).
