Friends of the Elk River Cleanup 2002

Here is the CREW!!!! What a great turnout we had this year!!!  I believe we hit the mark of 20 people way up from last year I believe we might have even doubled last years mark.  It was a great day on a great river to say the least if you missed this cleanup you missed out on one awesome time!!  We had great food of course compliments of Mrs. Elkfisher!! Great fishing as always of course well for some of us.  Then an unbelievable amount of garbage collected, I believe there was a total of 5 pickup truck loads picked up together on the 2 mile stretch of the catch and release on the Elk.  And to top things off there was so much great BS it would have went overtop the chest waders!!  I want to personally thank all the people who made this years cleanup and unbelievable success, if it wasn't for them taking the time out and there effort none of this would have got down.  The river looks great from all there hard work and effort during this fine cleanup were very thankful to call them all Friends of the Elk River!!!  We look forward to next years cleanup and another get together this year.  Stay tuned to this webpage WVAngler.com for more details on these events and anything else that has to do with our great river the Elk!!  Cleanup people pictured: Chad See, Larry Jones, Steven Johnson, Bob Mundell, Jayson Blake, Ron Blake, Brain Gibson, Ben Davis, Roy Smith, Joe Webb, Gary Reed, Jamie Darr, Robb Dittmar, Russ Zickefose, David Breitmeier, and Zach Pittman.  Not Pictured: Lonnie Williamson and family and Lane Darr.  If I missed anyone I am greatly sorry but we THANK YOU ALL for all the work you did!!!
