Elk River Flash Flood
A nice day on the water on June 13 led into a ragging site of rapids and a huge wall of water. Within seconds we view these shots from Rose Run Bridge at the end of the Catch and Release on the Elk. Thankfully no one was in the water at the time the Wall came through due to some early warnings. Goes to show you though you just can't turn your back on such a powerful water system such as this cause you can be in trouble or near death in a matter of seconds. Wade safely and remember enjoy the water. All pictures taken by Carl DeFazio as he and myself viewed this spectacle from Rose Run Bridge.
