This fly comes from my imagination.  I was looking for a really buggy looking nymph that would work in a variety of situations.  It can be tied in various colors to meet your needs.

Clip a strand of antron of about 4 inches. Tie the tail in but don't clip the excess.  You will need this later.  Add your dubbing to the thread and dub a tapered body towards the bead.
Take the excess antron and twist it till you have a tightly wound "rope".  Wind the antron rope forward to create the ribbing of the fly.  Once you have reached the thorax tie off the antron rope, but again don't clip.  Take the remaining antron and pull it forward to create a wing case and legs.  Tie off near the bead.  Whip finish.  Take your bodkin and pick at the antron near the thorax to make some of the fibers flair out.
