Cased Caddis by Jason Sanders

Hook:16 long shank nymph hook
Thread: Cream
Body and head material: cream thread
legs: pheasent tail
case materials: antron (desired color), hare dubbing, ostrich herl

Tied with a lead wrap for weight. Use thread to build up body and head of caddis. Tie in antron and 2 pieces of herl on each side for the case. Twist antron into a rope and wax, then touch dub hare fur onto it. Wrap up the body and tie off. Bring herl up each side and tie off. Tie in legs. Use makers to color body of caddis to desired color and use black to color the head.
